I don't know if it is because global warming, or fate, or whatever, but I live in the desert, where the summers are continuously getting hotter and lasting longer. I can wear summer clothes all the way into November now, which makes it pretty nice for me to not have to drastically change my wardrobe throughout the year.
It is partly because of my hot weather life that women's summer clearance fashion works out so well for me. It is great for some women to buy summer clothes cheap and then save them to wear for the next year. They have brand new, clean, cute stuff to wear each summer that they didn't have to spend too much money on. They can even do the same with winter, and wear inexpensive, yet nice, clothes year round.
But for those of us who live in the heat, summer clearance fashion just means we have an opportunity to upkeep our regular clothes at extremely low prices. While the rest of the country is preparing for snow, we are trying on flip-flops!
